We felt that the current arrangement of the gym and spa sharing the same space was not doing justice to either facility. Our solution was to create defined leisure (exhilarating) and spa (relaxing) areas to enhance the guest experience in both areas.
The gym and studio space was relocated to an adjacent cottage, previously tenanted, allowing the addition of more gym equipment, a new shower and locker area, and a bigger more comfortable workout studio.
The spa was expanded into the space vacated by the gym and allowed management to add two extra treatment rooms both to enhance the spa day experience and to increase spa revenue. We created a quiet area outside the treatment rooms to cosset clients before and after treatments complimenting the holistic spa experience.
The main spa lounge was also refurbished with intimate areas created by the clever use of pooled lighting, furniture groupings and soft furnishings – chosen by the Duchess with her inspirational colour-ways of bold and vibrant blending perfectly with country elegance.
