Yew Tree Cottage: Private Residence

This Grade II listed mid-terrace traditional build Yorkshire cottage was built in 1750 and has has been beautifully restored.

Although it is holiday accommodation, the owners were determined to make it comfortable and homely.

It already had an established interior but our brief was to make it warm and welcoming.

We have done this by being bold with colour and texture. This brings comfort and traditional style but with a contemporary twist.

We have also introduced quirky artifacts, an eclectic mix of objects that reflect a true home that would be filled with belongings acquired over the years.

Yew Tree Cottage is now a country retreat that stimulates the senses and draws the outside in.

The interiors are furnished with fabrics, textures and objects inspired by natural surroundings and times gone by.
